We're passionate about supporting the local community, both by partnering with local businesses  and supporting local charities in any way we can. Today we're putting a spotlight on an organization we've been partnered with for over 20 years.   Save the Harbor/Save the Bay was founded in 1986. We've been working with them since 1996, and have since formed a long-lasting and mutually rewarding relationship. The Circle family feels strongly about restoring and protecting the Boston harbor, and we're proud to be aligned with an organization that cares equally about the beautiful city we live in.   Who are they?   We met with Bruce Berman, director of Strategy and Communications, to talk about our partnership with them and what the charity has accomplished.   Catherine Willey, store manager and furniture fan in our Framingham showroom, has a new favorite from our product line up.   The Comfort Air Recliner, in particular, the Cirrus model. Catherine chose this as her pick of the week because of the unique comfort of the chair and the way it conforms to your individual seating style. "I was that kid who sat cross-legged everywhere, or with my legs hanging over the side of the furniture. Standard seats are not for me. The Comfort Air Recliner uses advanced foam technologies in combination with a very mobile and flexible body construction to create seating that's all about the user."     This chair can be paired with an ottoman, or not, and it swivels, ...

The merchandising team has returned from the Fall High Point Market in North Carolina with exciting new home decor trends. After visiting many showrooms, we found several common threads throughout. Here are some of the top trends we took away from this High Point Market visit.   Shades of blue   The first trend that was prevalent  throughout Market was the color blue. As far as shades of blue, they varied, but navy in particular dominated. Blue is soothing, calming, creating an oceanic feeling, whether seen on furniture, wall coverings, or artwork. It's an easy color to bring into the home and looks beautiful contrasted against warmer, orange tones as well as weaved into a cooler toned palette. Our Davis sofa, featured in ...

Recently, we had a chance to visit a local woodshop that we've been partnered with for over 30 years and get a peek into their daily routine. They've been making hardwood furniture for around 35 years, and they specialize in bedroom furniture as well as mirrors, tables, and occasionally media cabinets. We spoke to Chris who's been with them for 19 years.   He describes the wood they use for their pieces, "Everything we do is cherry, but our secondary woods for the drawer sides are pine. Most of our cherry comes from the Alleghany National Forest in Pennsylvania."   Sustainability   Caring for, and not harming, the environment is important to them and they take care to ensure that the wood they source is from ...

Upholstery and interior design trends are constantly in flux. And, as with everything else, it's important to invest in pieces that work for you and your lifestyle. That being said, learning about the latest trends will inspire you, inform you, and help you along your design journey.       High Style, High Performance   There are a few key elements in upholstery that are trending right now, including layering textured styles, and softened shapes. But the main takeaway You want a fabric that looks beautiful but isn't high maintenance. In other words, as Catherine Willey, our store manager in Framingham, likes to call it, "High-Style and High-Performance." While patterns and color trends come and go, the trend is consistently moving towards fabrics that are made ...

A bedroom set can cost you anywhere from $3,000 to around $10,000 or more. A quality bed will range from $400 to $4,000, the larger the bed the greater the cost. A nightstand will, in general, sit somewhere between $300 and $3,000, and a chest of drawers will also vary greatly, from around $300 to $5,000. Of course, the price of a bedroom set varies greatly depending on size, style, quality, and material. If your furniture is locally made, solid wood, and handcrafted, that will reflect in the price. You should also keep in mind that this price range doesn't include additional design elements, such as a rug, mattress, or bedding.     For an in-depth look at how much it costs to ...
